North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service continues to modernise, enabling us to better respond to the changing needs of North Yorkshire. Our core business of saving lives is achieved through enhanced community fire safety and prevention as well as strong partnerships and an effective response to a wide range of life threatening emergencies such as fires, road traffic collisions, collapsed buildings, chemical spillages, flooding and other specialist rescues.To ensure that we are providing a Fire and Rescue Service in an effective and efficient way, we measure our progress through key performance indicators.
